Carbotimer CO2-measuring units

Carbotimer® – Ensure beer enjoyment in perfection with your mobile CO2 expert on site!

Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive product solutions and support for all processes related to tapping. For this reason, we acquired the company Carbotimer in 2017 and can thus offer additional products to improve and maintain tapping quality. For on-site quality assurance, you can choose between two tools:

Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER

The Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER is a mobile CO2 measuring instrument for quality assurance during the dispensing of beer, which electronically determines the CO2 content of the beer in the keg according to Henry’s constant. It takes into account the head pressure in the tapped keg and the temperature.

The Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER is a technical aid that enables breweries, dispensing technicians, catering companies, beverage wholesalers and operators of event arenas (e.g. football stadiums, concert halls) to determine the CO2 content of beer in tapped kegs quickly and easily on site and thus also to check the dispensing system installation.

If the keg needs to be depressurised, this will delay the carbonation of the beer, which is easily done using the integrated safety valve. In addition, the evolution of the CO2 content of the beer at a future storage temperature can be displayed.

The advantages of this innovative device are many: avoidance of lost sales, savings on additional personnel and logistics costs, possibility of checking settings and thus avoiding damage to the image. The Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER is a quick and mobile way of measuring the CO2 content in beer to ensure excellent beer quality.

The Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER is supplied with a bag of the required tap heads. Flat, basket and combination tap heads are available as standard.

Carbotimer® MEASURING HEAD

Compared to the Carbotimer® BRAUMEISTER, the Carbotimer® MEASURING HEAD is a reduced and more cost-effective solution for quality assurance. The head pressure of the beer in the keg is measured manually. Taking into account the temperature, the CO2 content of the beer is calculated.

This technical aid enables breweries, dispensing technicians, caterers, beverage wholesalers and operators of event venues (e.g. football stadiums, concert halls) to determine the CO2 content in tapped kegs quickly and easily. In addition, the built-in filter prevents beer foam from entering the manometer and contaminating it.

The use of the modified tap head makes it possible to prevent any possible carbonation of the beer by releasing the pressure in the keg. The pressure is simply released via the integrated safety valve. In addition, the function of the dispensing system can be checked.

The Carbotimer® MEASURING HEAD is an indispensable tool for quality assurance and helps you to avoid lost sales, additional personnel and logistics costs and possible damage to your image. Benefit from easy handling and reliable measurement of CO2 to ensure the best possible beer quality.

The Carbotimer® MEASURING HEAD is available as a A-, S- and M-system head as standard.
New: As a Köpi-dispensing head without safety valve.
New: As Pepsi tap head with modified outlet and stopcock at the safety valve. Due to the different design of the tap head and the higher pressures, a controlled solution is required.
